We had been on Independence in 2009 with our little girl who was only 2 yrs at the time.
This time we returned she was 9 yrs and had a brother 6 yrs as well . It was really good for them , The splash zone was fantastic they even supplied life vest for the kids which for us was great it gave our 6 yr old a little more freedom to pop in and out of the whirl pools and back into the pools.
I choose this cruise because of the ship and the facilities on board, it was sailing from Southampton so there was no flying for us.......
Lovely cabin on Deck 6 portside..... nice location near aft ship easy to get to dinning and childrens activities ... location near lifts handy.....No noise at all was heard
Balocny was nice we were on the curve of the aft so we didnt get to see the front of the ship due to the curve we could see the back for sure and we enjoyed our balcony views.
Cabin was nice as there was 4 of us .... nice large double bed with sofa bed...... which was always put away and taken back in the evening by joseff our stateroom attendant.
The cabin was spotless but as others have mentioned it was a little tired but that did not affect us in anyway. plenty of wardrobe space ...... we placed our cases under the bed which was very handy for getting them out of the way......
Would stay again in this cabin ......
