Cabin: Balcony Stateroom with Shower

Having cruised for many years and with different cruise lines I felt that this time I was left wanting more from this trip!

Embarkation was very quick and smooth at venice and luckily we had an early morning flight so had time to explore Venice prior to departure.

our Cabin was deck 9 619 and I felt that it needed some updating, the cabin was kept clean and tidy by our steward but the walls were marked and the shower did not stay at a constant temperature. The balcony was non-existent really, just about squeezed two chairs on. One evening as the balcony doors seal was degrading we had a howling wind come into the cabin and had to sleep with the balcony door open - not ideal!

Venice

Recommend visiting Venice as early as possible to beat the queues, especially in the Summer. The Doge's palace and St Mark's basilica are must see places. Definitely recommend exploring out the back of the city as the smaller quarters are a bit cheaper for food and drink and have some pretty little galleries and squares. The best way to get about is the local water taxi service.

Kotor

Pretty little town, definitely worth a walk around, nice cafes, restaurants and shops. You can also scale the old city walls up the hillside but it would be a hard walk for the less able.

Corfu

Cheap, naff tourist town.
