This was a great cruise for us; we were part of a large group. This was my 7th cruise; all our cruises have been on Carnival; Fantasy Class, Sensation and Conquest Class. There seem to be a lot of mixed opinions on this ship. We found it to be clean and everything in working order. We had a balcony room that appeared to have new carpet and a new thermostat, but an old tube TV and a 1960's hair dryer. LOVED the large medicine cabinet in the pink marbled bathroom. We were on the 8th floor mid ship and one flight to the main area of the lido deck. We were a bit disappointed with our room steward. He forgot to give us our two free liters of water - he remembered the second day. He asked us to fill out what time of day we wanted our room done (you can choose both) so we chose evening, but he ended up doing AM instead and he didn't leave the customs paperwork on the last day, and we only got one towel animal (we do love these). He did keep our champagne on ice but we had to ask for clean towels one night and ended up putting our food dishes outside because they weren't picked up. The food on the lido was the usual fare. The dining room food was outstanding with a wait staff that was on point with service and entertainment.

I did not care for our CD - or rather was disappointed in the lack of one. I don't let a CD make or break a cruise, but in May on the Conquest we had Josh "big sexy' - he was warm, funny, and genuinely wanted to meet and mingle with the guests. He was present at a ton of activities and would walk the floors speaking to anyone that came up to him. Lisa G (E?) was not present, we saw her twice - once on the morning show and once to introduce a show - it didn't seem like she was interested in engaging the guests.

The only other opinion I have is for the big screen TV on the lido deck. When there isn't entertainment they have a slide show of photos that aren't tropical themed and the music is so loud during the slide show - we couldn't have a conversation with people in the hot tub without yelling.
