I love this Itinary; Boston to Bermuda and back for a week. Easy to do for us locals near Boston. The Dawn looked very good inside and out with the recent renovation.
Nearly everyone was pleasant and helpful; room steward, dining staff, specialty restaurant staff, bar tenders and guest services etc.
The bartenders to me were more generous than I've experienced in past cruises.
The "Pain in the Neck Cabin"
This is a horizontal cabin relative to the hall corridor.
We didn't know how it was layed out.
I don't know if all inside horizontal cabins are this way, it would be good to know.
Anyway this issue is they put the refrigerator in front of your bed for you to look at.
They put the television in the extreme far left corner such that one has to twist your neck as far as one can to watch it, and the partner using the furtherest side of the bed also has the person in the way and thus has to try to prop themselves up and peer over the shoulder or the closer person.
It's a pain in the neck!
I don't know why they haven't fixed this; they just did another renovation; should have been done then...reverse the location of the tv with the fridge.
Unloading the car at Cruiseport Boston was easy and parking area was right around the corner. But the cost to park is too much in my opinion. No local competition. $20 day; they call that a bargin.
