We chose this particular cruise because it was a "Free" cruise, compliments of the Carnival Player's Club "Casino". For the most part, this cruise was about what we expected it to be. Even though we had things to complain about, we still had a pretty good time. The good parts were what we've grown accustomed to since this was cruise number 27 "on Carnival". We've been on 4 other cruises (2 Norwegian, 1 Holland, and 1 Princess). Of these 31 total cruises, probably the most elegant was our very first cruise, on the Norwegian "Norway" which is no longer around. It reminded us of the Titanic, except for the iceberg thingy...
Okay, here are some things that need to be reported to the cruise community.
1. This may seem trivial, but, I pre ordered, on the Carnival.com website, FLIP FLOPS to be in our room when we boarded (for the hot tubs, steam room, sauna, spa etc.). Well, guess what? They were "out of stock" and Carnival made no attempts to offer a substitute.
