Lovely ship excellent service great itinerary. We had balcony C7 40 which is a balcony on the aft of the ship on the back of the boat. It is not covered so everybody that's above deck 10 can see into your balcony see your whole balcony. And there is a black soot covers everything unless your room Steward cleans it. We went to the crown grill one night sucked we had better service in the dining room. Most of the trip our balcony was in the shade with a really nice view there were only a few days that it was too hot and in the sun. Overall it was wonderful we would totally do it again in a heartbeat . Next time we would choose a mini suite over a balcony on the back of the boat because the mini suite was bigger and was cheaper. Excellent service excellent food.
We had a balcony on the back of the ship. Deck 10 it was not covered , so every deck above us could see our balcony. Deck 9 and 11 had a partial cover. Also there was black soot covering everything . We left towels by the door so we could put them on the chairs when we went outside the door. I had read about a few reviews that mention the blacks soot but I guess I didn't believe it but if your room steward doesn't clean it there's black sit on everything.
We took a shuttle bus to a tram which took us to the top of the rock of Gibraltar. Of the monkeys a beautiful cave it was totally worth going there.
It was very easy to get to Rome on our own for total of about €20. We were at the Trevi fountain at 9:20 in the morning. There is a shuttle bus that leads to another bus which takes you right to the train which takes off about 10 minutes after the bus arrives and takes you straight to the train . It was really easy to get to Rome on our own we saved hundreds of dollars.
It was a totally lovely little city very easy to explore on your own my husband hiked to the top took him about an hour and a half.
Very easy to explore the city on your own.
