this was our third time on the independence of the seas, we booked this cruise a few weeks later than we have before as it was going to be our 40th anniversary, whilst we was away and was really looking forward to it.
however what a difference four years makes, the ship was still as wonderful as ever . formal dinning room Romeo and Juliet was very nice and staff and food we could not wish for anything more it was perfect, windjammer I went in there three times in all it was my worst nightmare it was noisy hectic just awful.
entertainment was very good. bar service extremely slow in some bars and it wouldn't hurt for some members of bar staff to smile a little more. the kids curfew is just far to late they were running around the ship till early hours of the morning. but then its down to bad parenting too.
cabin was with balcony as we have had before it was just the same although a little shabby and could do with an up lift. however our cabin attendant was really nice and attended to our every needs, so no complaints there
but was quite surprized at the fact you had to now pay for the TV channels when you didn't before
just love gibralter
not much to do here may be a excursion is needed but was to soon after Rome
again need to do a trip
spent the day on the beach
lovely and a lovely beach
walked to the centre and shopped
