Sailing on the Freedom of the Seas was a nice experience. The ship reminded us of our sailings on the Voyager of the Seas in its overall layout. We enjoyed the promenade for it's activity throughout the day. One was not required to go outside to find something to do. The high ceilings added to the opened feeling and was delightfully lit in the evening.

Our room steward, Alex, kept our room spiffy without ever being intrusive. It was like having a magic wand-- close the door, leave, return and all was in order. Our room was close to the elevator which was great; we did not get lost down the hallways. HINT: Check the color of carpet to know which side of the ship you are on.

Jigger our waiter in the main dining room was a joy. HIs food recommendations were spot on. He was eager to make our dining experiences special. Always smiling, Jigger made each day complete with his cheery greetings and patter. All of the table-mates wanted to take him home.
