What a disappointment from previous RC cruises. The food quantity and selection has been cut by at least two-thirds in the Windjammer and various other places. There are not enough tables in the Windjammer on cruise days and breakfast times. People are grabbing tables and hogging them to avoid walking around with your plate in your hands. The ship itself must have been designed by someone that's colour blind as nothing matches, everything is brown and dull. The staff are clearly overworked and not at all happy. The shows are quite good although Grease was a little boring, the rest were very good. One really annoying point is that "own time dining" is not "own time dining", it's whatever time RC can fit you in if you have not booked a reservation and most times you cannot on their booking system. The food is okay in the Grand restaurant. We booked Central Park for one night and what a disappointment that was €176 for a bottle of wine and for the amount of food we got I often put more on a mouse trap with rubbish service of which they add 18% service charge. Stay away from this operator. The shore excursions are a rip off anyway but we knew that. For example, we booked a four hour excursion in Marseille only to be given one hour sightseeing to ourselves.

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C2

The cabin was standard but the carpet is paper thin and the decoration left a lot to be desired. Horrible brown tile on the floor and no shelf space.

Port Reviews

Marseille

The guide was clearly fed up and gave us an hour to ourselves from a four hour tour.

Naples

The guide was brilliant and had all his facts and figures to hand with plenty of jokes and funny stories. He was the best.
