We had a great trip on the Norwegian Star to the Baltic Capitals. Visited 6 countries in 9 days and the experience couldn't have been better. The ship is large but not mega big so very few times did we feel like it was crowded. There are plenty of dining options on board. We ate at 3 specialty restaurants and the food and service were outstanding everytime. The on board entertainment was very good, maybe not world class but very, very good and entertaining. We had a deck 10 balcony cabin that was perfect for 2. It has a comfortable bed, excellent shower and bathroom facility, and great daily cabin service. Plenty of hot tubs were on hand front, mid and aft of the ship and my wife took advantage of the Mandara spa and had a great massage. The ports of call were everything we thought they would be an more. I would sail the Star again without hesitation.

Balcony
We had a deck 10 balcony cabin that was perfect for 2. It has a comfortable bed, excellent shower and bathroom facility, and great daily cabin service.

Copenhagen
1 hour canal boat tour was good but was re-routed in a couple of places because of a swimming marathon. Still a good orientation to the city and major sites.
Berlin
Booked an all day tour with Alla Tours. This was a thorough tour of the major sites to see in Berlin and Daniel our tour guide was excellent.
Tallinn
Tallin was a great surprise. We had read that it was a well preserved medieval town but it was far more quaint and historic than we imagined. Loads of charm through the cobblestone streets of this town. Short walk from the ship to town and we enjoyed wandering around on our own the whole day.
St. Petersburg
Polina with Alla Tours gave us a great 2 day tour of St Petersburg. She knows the history of the major sites like the back of her hand. Very insightful and educational. This tour was well worth the cost. Well organized and we saw everything their itinerary promised. I highly recommend Alla Tours.
Helsinki
Helsinki is a nice town and was the smallest on the itinerary. Enjoyed wandering around on our own and really enjoyed the Rock Church. Very interesting for sure.
Stockholm
Took advantage of the Hop on Hop off bus and wandered around on our own. The Vasa Museum is a must see. It was awesome! Beautiful Old Town and waterfront city. Would like to have spent 2 days here. Didn't have enough time to see everything.
