Great cruise, my third on this line, and first on this ship. Princess does a great job on the Voyage of the Glaciers itinerary.

Dining was excellent. We had reserved dining at the early seating and really enjoyed meeting our tablemates. Our waiters, Cesar and Giancarlo, took excellent care of us. The food was very good. I was pleased to see that unlike previous Princess cruises, the same meals were not served in the Horizon buffet. It made dinner more special. I cruised with my adult son who quickly became a convert to more formal dining. We did not try any specialty dining. Really didn't see a need to, the dining room meals were so good. We did have the British Pub lunch when that was offered, and it was delicious - shepherd's pie and fish and chips.

Loved having the rangers come aboard and talk during the Glacier Bay trip.

Cabin O5

Our room was located on the Emerald deck near the front of the ship. The deck was very convenient. I think it was the only one where you could get to any deck without switching elevators. Our cabin was a deluxe outside cabin and was the size of a balcony cabin with the balcony area inside. We had a large desk and a loveseat in addition to the usual desk and 2 chairs.
