This was booked as a short break that fit in with a visit to Hamburg followed by a 3 night mini cruise back to the UK. My expectation levels were not high an, mainly due to that, I was not disappointed.

For such a large ship it did feel somewhat claustrophobic - not helped by ceiling heights that seemed somewhat lower than on most other cruise ships I have been on.the lack of dining choices and relaxation areas was another downer. I got the feeling that they had used a high proportion of space for accommodation to cram as many fare paying guests on as possible.

Staff were pleasant but many seemed quite new to the job and not extensively trained. Read more
