We chose this one because it was a good price, plus seemed family friendly and we were taking our 12 year old granddaughter. We were extremely well pleased with the whole experience, however, we would suggest that you go to the city of departure a day or so ahead so that you can be well rested to begin your cruise. (And also check out the city). This was our first cruise and we weren't sure what to expect. Everyone was very friendly and helpful!!

Our granddaughter was in the Circle C club for 12-14 yr. olds and not only had a great time, but we felt very comfortable that she was safe and enjoying her time- while we enjoyed some quiet adult time. We had a balcony that was wonderful to use for reading and admiring God's creation - I would highly recommend a balcony. Our granddaughter had been worried about sea sickness, but we hardly realized we were on a moving ship. I actually enjoyed the little bit of movement we felt on occasion (especially at night when I felt lulled to sleep). Everything was clean and if ever you needed something the Cabin Steward was right there with it.

The food was wonderful and our waiters fantastic. We we were seated for the week with another couple who had brought their granddaughter and that was very enjoyable, plus the girls had a great time together and teasing with the waiters. They actually looked forward to the dining room dinner and were able to still get their pizza, or spaghetti and fries! I needed a specific diet for my heart and I was very pleased with my meals - not only that , but when I decided to veer off it slightly one night, the chef doubled checked to make sure I realized I was doing that. I think that is above & beyond great service & was pleased they took such good care! My birthday happened to fall within the week and I was serenaded, plus had my own little cake. When I returned to the room I had some special coupons waiting for me with a Happy Birthday card. It was great! Read more
