Sail Date: Aug 2016
Cabin: Window Suite

My wife and I have a preference for smaller ships and although experienced cruisers have yet to explore the 'luxury' market. The small ships are rapidly disappearing from the mainstream providers and so time for a change.

Our first foray into the field was Star Pride last year and of coarse any comparison is mainly against that experience.

On both occasions our accommodation was a centrally located ocean view stateroom of similar size although Windstar made better use of the space and the bathroom included a double sink.

Cabin Review

Window Suite

Cabin steward was good and everything was clean and consumables replaced promptly.

Port Reviews

Sorrento

The Amalfi coast is breathtaking, both in terms of the narrow steep roads and the scenery.

Split

To get away from the coast is to step back in time and European history

Bari

Ostuni deserved a whole day to appreciate all that was to be seen. The olive oil presentation was enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

Santorini

There is no other port like this iconic village
