  3. Wind Spirit
Sailed on Windspirit Tahiti August 2016. It is the one cruise experience we hope to do again. Loved it. Thought a couple of tips might help others. 1 if arranging own transport to the ship don't arrive before the scheduled time as you will not be allowed on until 1pm. 2. When you get on board book your dinner on deck at candles the first day 3. On the day you are in Tahaa there is a motu booked by the ship and they set it up with deck chairs and lots of activities and there is a picnic on the motu all complementary so don't book an excursion for that day 4. The signature event in Bora Bora is on the 2nd day. You can also go across during the day for snorkelling and water sports on motu. 5. Snorkelling gear and fins are provided on board for the week. 6. You tender each day except when in Raiatea, advice would be to organise an excursion this day can do it from the ship or from the tourist office in port. 7. Best excursion we took we organised privately with a local company while in Huahine, Poetenia circle island tour, it was fantastic day, you eat on tables in the water, learn how to cook island style, snorkel 2 different spots , visit pearl farm and sacred eels. But best are the local people who run the excursion, their sense of fun and immersion in true local culture.
