Cabin: Penthouse with Large Balcony

Had a penthouse suite and the VIP service and private breakfast and lunch venue was great. Karen was our concierge for the week and took care of everything. Speciality restaurants on board were all excellent. Highly recommend this ship and the Captain is cool also. The Alaskan excursions are not cheap but worth the cost. Got to see bears eating salmon up close which was a real highlight. Also walking up to a glacier.

Shopping in port was cheaper than we expected and no tax in Ketchikan on jewelry at Diamonds International. A great store with a super manager. Linda the shopping expert on the Jewel knows her stuff.

Most of the entertainment on-board was very good. The Gaucho was the best--very talented.

Cabin Review

Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SE

Very large room with great views up front. Have to stay off balcony when ship is cruising more than about ten knots. Very comfy bed and pillows. Large shower but has a big step up. No problem if your in good shape, otherwise could be a bit of a challenge.

Lots of hanging room for coats and everything else.
