The Spirit was a tired old ship showing its age at every turn. Had to call maintenance twice due to water backup in shower and stench coming from drains. Entertainment was average to poor with very liitle variety. Food was average to poor. Nickel and dimed at every turn. Juice was free at breakfast but you had to pay for it at lunch and dinner. Average to poor service. It was obvious that the crew was short staffed as they struggled to serve everyone at supper where the wait for food was typically 30-45 minutes. Every port we docked at it was obvious the cruise line was trying to save money as we typically would be at the farthest dock from the main entrance as other cruise ships. That made for long walks and sometimes an issue with timing when getting back to the ship. We had been on Norwegian in the Caribbean and enjoyed it very much. Very disappointed in the very different experience on this ship. It seemed like it was a different cruise line running it!
