Went because it was the only ship that Norwegian had available for an extended land tour. The Norwegian Sun turned out to be a smaller ship than we previously sailed on (Norwegian Pearl). Very unstable! Really bad maintenance, very few restrooms, and badly marked. Other than the Buffet, most restaurant meals were not very good, we stuck to the Buffet. Rom we picked before sailing was adequate, but access was not as shown on the floor plan shown on NCL website.

Only one way in and out, a long walk to get to the room and to various decks etc. Room access shown was near an exit, but when we got into our room, we found that the near exit was an emergency exit. And.............halfway down the hall, there was a connecting hallway between both sides of the ship, that was only for service personnel................not passengers. Also, a very small shower.

The entertainment was not bad, considering. The comedian was excellent. Overall, not as good as those on the Pearl, but not real bad either. Also, Casino hours were badly planned, being closed more often than they were open. Kind of weird, because I'm sure they are a very good source of income.
