I'm curious if our Holland America cruise was typical of other cruise lines. I previously sailed Royal Caribbean to Mexico and Carnival to Mexico.

The Holland America experience involved a lot of "attitude" beginning when we went to the wrong deck for dining and were sent down one level and continued through most crew interactions. Example:
