This was our first cruise, celebrating our 25th anniversary. I did a lot of research and found good things and bad things. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our cruise. We chose a cabin with a balcony and it was great. Mali serviced our room and she was great. We probably tried every food available except the pizza and everything was very good. The main dining room was better than what we expected. Elena, Joel and Yohanis were there every night and they were great. We had to take a picture with them on the last night. There is entertainment for everyone. If you can't find something to do and feel bored, then you are probably a boring person. The service was great. Maybe we haven't been exposed to other cruise ships since it was our first cruise but we certainly don't have any complaints. Boarding and leaving the ship was smooth. We were in our cabin within a few minutes and when we left, we were in our car within 30-45 minutes. The ports and shore excursions were pretty smooth too. We planned our own excursions when we arrived at our destinations. I wouldn't recommend this unless you speak good spanish. We will definitely do this again. We are hooked. :)

Taxi driver picked us up from zipline, took us to do some shopping and then took us to Punta Maya Beach where we relaxed on the beach and had some lunch. One thing we did not like was the vendors.

We took a taxi and asked for a zipline place. Driver took us to this place where he said we wouldn't have to wait. Well we didn't have to wait and it was an awesome experience.

Found a vendor in Progreso. The driver took us to the ruins in Uxmal but first stopped at some salt flats and then to see some flamingos. From here he took us to San Benito Beach at the Tecnotel. Beach was very nice and relaxing. The price for the food and drinks were great.

The ruins weren't very big but it leaves you amazed of how they were built.
