I chose carnival vista because carnival are one of the few Cruise lines that have a kids club for two year olds. The club was great, the staff were very understanding when my daughter had a few toileting accidents, and gave her lots of cuddles and reassurance when she got upset being dropped off. When I went to collect her she was always all smiles.

Circle C, the kids club for 12-14 year olds was another thing entirely. It doesn't open until 4 PM , and closes at 1 AM. If you have a child of this age it is essential that they go to the first night's meeting. Everyone makes friends on that night and if you miss it it's hard to find a group to join in with . It is more of a drop-in centre than a structured activity program, and most of the 12+ ages make their own entertainment wandering round the ship at night. This was a worry for me in spite of my 12-year-old telling me that everybody else was allowed to stay out until 1am.

I had planned on keeping track of him by using the carnival hub app, but it doesn't work properly.
