The deal was great, our friends had been with Royal Caribbean before several times ( not this ship ) we were excited, had waited a year, Flight fab, getting on board Fab ( gold members ) our room was spotless, Antonio our Cabin boy Excellent service, but I am afraid that is were it stops, well not quite, the food in Windjammer and the staff were Excellent, we were shown to our room 8533, bang bang all night, we thought it was the A/C, reported it, but on the second time of reporting were told it was not the A/C so I asked to be moved, we cannot but can give you ear plugs, by this time and lack of 4 nights sleep I was getting a little irritated to say the least, Guest Services Manager of us another room, 5 decks below but sleep was calling, we checked out the room, spotless, decided on an early night (10-30 ) we were shattered, BUT, the noise was even worse, directly under a VERY busy Galley kitchen, I couldn't wait to get home, we were offered 30% of our next cruise and a meal in Giovanni's which wasn't up to much anyway, but do people not look at were you are being put or do they not believe in sound proofing, I know the ship is old and needs a bit more than TLC in my opinion, but, you couldn't get in the pool, by lunch time it was filthy and a lot more than 30 in it as stated, Royal Caribbean should get there act together, I certainly will not be sailing on Vision of the Seas again
