We just returned from a 7 day Rhine River Cruise on Scenic Opal for our 30th anniversary. This was our first river cruise and one of the newer ships in the fleet. I have nothing but positive feedback for our experience.

We arrived a few days early in Amsterdam and spent a few days exploring on our own. Day of embarkation, we arrived at the boat a bit early but were welcomed on board, processed in and taken to our rooms right away. It's a beautiful ship and the rooms (deluxe balcony) were luxurious and plenty of storage and room for everything. We loved the balcony where you could open the patio window.

Every meal was top notch and everything was included, (mini bar, wine, champagne, beer, excursions, everything). The staff was outstanding, and always friendly and helpful. Read more
