I would like to share a few thoughts and experiences from our trip aboard Fascination. I booked 3 rooms for myself and employees on the cruise that left port April 27th. We where very happy to have such a short drive to Jacksonville verses the 6 hour drive to PC or 8 hour drive to Tampa. Getting on board was very easy, there was a line to get through security but it moved pretty fast and the agents there where pretty friendly. The port itself is nothing to get exciting over, it is functional and I have no complaints . I am guessing it took us about 45 mins to get aboard the ship. Our rooms where ready when we arrived and I must say I was very surprised at our suite. I had booked a penthouse suite for myself and my wife and we found the room very nice and large. We have been on Holland American and RC before but this was the nicest of the bunch. My employees where booked into standard ocean view rooms. These rooms where average size and furnished with what you would expect for the price of the cruise. No complaints here either. Public Rooms where nice and well kept, some had said that Fascination looked wore out, I did not see it. The Dinning Room, Casino , Disco all where fine. Maybe not as plush looking as what I have seen on newer boats, but totally ok. The only thing that looked abit rough was the elevators. Food was ok at the Lido deck places to eat, at the dinning room it was much better. Pretty much the same stuff you would find on any boat and about the same quality. Staff was for the most part friendly and helpful, but I did find that their where some employees on the boat that where just plain rude. One group that stand out for this was the bar staff on just about every deck. I did enjoy the casino staff and the dinning staff as well. Our room attendant was very nice but appeared to have too many rooms to offer the johnny on the spot service I have had on Holland American Cruise or even  on SOS.  Over all good experience. A few issues did creep up during our trip. One of the employees in a standard room had water backing up in her bathroom everytime they used the shower, and there was a smell of sewage that came up now and again. ( I have yet to be on a boat that didn't have it though) Also drinks seems to be pretty expensive.  Overall no problem saying you will enjoy your cruise on Fascination
