Sail Date: Aug 2016
Cabin: The Haven 2-Bedroom Family Villa with Balcony
Traveled with children

We are a family of 5 with 3 older children, 21, 19 and 16 We had a 2 br Haven room on the 15th floor. Embarkation was a breeze as was Debarkation.(but this was Haven so not regular ) The ship is big but it never seemed  except for at the climbing wall - very small space to walk in and no place to sit and watch except for Uptown Grill which is becoming Margaritaville soon. Our Butler Gian was fantastic , and omg by the 4th day we were asking him to NOT bring any other snacks bowls of M & ms, sandwiches , fruit too much!! but appreciated The upper decks 16 and 17 have lots of space forward to relax and a bar right outside Vibe that anyone can use. Yes the main pool is crazy and small but it is what it is, I got into the hottubs every evening in the main pool area no problems.

Food was ok to fantastic - there were hits and misses but we just rolled with it, Perfection is not what we expected. Cagneys - fantastic, Moderno it was what we expected , ALOT of food - if you like Lamb? dont miss the lamb chops!!! Le Bistro - very good - I recommend the soups . these were among the best we have ever had including the 4 mushroom soup (I had ) and French Onion that all of the others had, Escargot were very good too. Garden Cafe most mornings for Breakfast is ok , that is where the hits and misses were but I still want some chocolate croissant rolls (YUM) If you come across a fabulous Filipino woman (she usualy was going around with coffee in the mornings) say hello! she is a bright ray of sunshine and those Garden Cafe workers dont get the recognition they deserve! We also ate at the Noodle restaurant really VERY GOOD Dim Sum!! the steamed ones were better than the fried - I just wish they had more!

We drove and stayed pre cruise at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ridgefield Park NJ - Highly recommend it - convenient to NYC the night before, took a taxi for 6 and it was under $50 plus tip to the Theater District

Cabin Review

The Haven 2-Bedroom Family Villa with Balcony

Cabin H4

Great room and really there was enough room for 2 boys (19 and 16) in the second room and they are not what I would call small boys! Our oldest slept on the couch , Small balcony but we had 3 out there and still had room.
