We did the same cruise in July 2015 and enjoyed the ports and ship that much that we felt we would enjoy doing it again and so booked onboard to sail 31st July 2016. We stayed in a Royal Suite again but on a deck higher.
Embarkation at Southampton is faultless and we were met by the MC concierge, Silvia and were soon up in MC drinking champers :)
We love the Eclipse - we find it clean and modern. The staff are outstanding. We are not ones for evening entertainment, we prefer to eat and then go to the many bars and mingle/people watch! Likewise, we don't like to sit around the pool or solarium so cannot comment on these.

Rostock (Warnemunde)
Berlin is too far when we could do a weekend break. We love to walk around in Warnemunde, such a lovely holiday resort. It was rainy so we headed back to the ship but then headed out later when the sun came out. Lovely to walk from the ship straight into town. Also some nice clothes shops!
Tallinn
Again, love Tallinn. Took a 10 Euro taxi there and back and again, wandered, shopping, sat and had food and drinks. Saw a lovely wedding party on a little train.
Helsinki
Again, love Helsinki. Love touring the market and made several purchases. Started to rain so found an excellent café where had delicious food.
Stockholm
Got off the shuttle bus to the horse parade - love it!! Again, wandered at our leisure.
Copenhagen
In the morning we got off the ship and wandered by the harbour - it was a lovely sunny day and very relaxing. We then in the late afternoon, took the shuttle bus into town and walked to Tivoli Gardens which we loved. Lovely to see so many families enjoying themselves.
