Had a great time on the Scenic Amber. Travelled with a group of 4 couples. The ship was only 6 months old and obviously in great condition. The trip from Budapest to Nuremberg , passes through some very picturesque country side. With only 160 passengers embarkation , meals, and tours all go smoothly.
An all inclusive resort on the water, food was excellent , wines were good to very good , with premium wines available for a surcharge but we found there was no need to shell out extra for the premium wines. Gratuities are all covered in the price , so while might be a bit more expensive then other cruises, the all in cost is quite competitive .
There are 4 Scenic buses which travel overland to meet the boat at each port of call and take you on shore excursions with local guides.
Cabin was comfortable and well equipped. The power window could be opened or closed as you saw fit , with a power screen , if you wanted to have fresh air at night. Bar fridge in your room was stocked daily and you could request specific drinks be stocked if you wished.
