Viking was unbelievably organized. Everything was so well planned out, we always knew what was happening and where to go. We wanted to see Germany, but also Paris, so this offered the best of both. Adding on the extra days in Paris and Switzerland was the best decision we ever made. Paris was amazing, just walking around the city provided so much interesting history. It was just a short stay in Luxembourg, but we found it interesting and beautiful. We were in awe of the beautiful villages and towns along the Mosel and Rhine Rivers. Switzerland was absolute breathtaking. Everything was green and clean! Most people in both Germany and Switzerland spoke English so we had no trouble exploring on our own. We took many of the optional tours and were so glad we did. The Taste of Alsace and the trip to the alps were the best, although all of them were wonderful. The local guides were all informative and very nice.

Best vacation EVER! We can't wait to do another one with Viking.

Cabin Review

French Balcony Superior

Cabin C

The cabin was excellent! Love the french balcony, we could sit on the bed, open the door and watch the beautiful villages go by. We made good use of the safe and the refrigerator.

Our room onboard was spotless and provided just what we needed. Loved the French balcony. We were able to sit on the bed with the door open and watch at we passed beautiful towns. (Although we rarely had time!). The staff was amazing. Our waiter remember our names and what we had to drink at every meal. If we had a special request he took care of it. I swear there were little fairies on board. Every time we came back to our room someone had come in and cleaned up, left us tomorrow's itinerary, and other little things. We never saw them! Several food options were available although we always chose the local speciality, thereby learning about other foods. The staff and captain greeted us upon our return each day with a drink. Everyone was helpful and friendly.
