Just got back from a beautiful 8 day cruise off of Splendor (Aug 13 - 21, 2016).

Splendor is very typical with other Carnival ships like Liberty and Legend down on the deck where the casino, clubs, piano bar is located. The ships decorations are a bit over the top, especially with all the pink donuts and spots wall paper everywhere. One nice touch is at the main center pool which has movable enclosure for bad weather.

Our cabin # 9261, deck 9 starboard side, is great location to the pool, buffet and elevator to lower decks, spa above, but lousy location because it's right across from crew entrance door where they enter and exit with their carts, mop buckets, etc.....too noisy, elevator and pool when people are still pump up in the middle of the night and talking loudly and kids running around. Cabin have 2 beds which were put together for us, sofa, table, small desk, frig and safe in cabinet, plenty of closet space, bathroom with shower. Note: these rooms and bathrooms are bigger than Norwegian Dawn's room and bathroom. Cabin balcony has 2 chairs and a table. Very close to deck 9 laundry room which is just at the other side of the elevator lobby on the port side cabin hallway. Read more
