Very nice week-long cruise on the Adventure of the Seas. Although the ship is scheduled for a bit of a make-over this fall, it was still in very good shape. We liked the layout of the ship, particularly the main promenade on 5. Everything moved quickly, particularly getting on and off the ship at embarkation, disembarkation, and stops. We had to wait a reasonable fifteen minutes to check our bags, but had no wait for check-in after that. We spent about a half an hour from the time we got out of the cab until we were all checked in and in a cab to go spend a few hours in Old San Juan before returning to the ship for an 8:30 departure.
It was busy cruise--only one day at sea--but we enjoyed the islands, particularly St. Lucia.
When we booked the cruise, we were told only pre-assigned dining times were available, and that there was a wait list for My Time dining. However, when I emailed RCI asking if we could switch, they immediately switched us to My Time, which worked out very well for us. On our second night, we were seated at a table served by Antonio and Ace, who were absolutely wonderful. Two of the warmest, friendliest people we've had serving us on cruises. We insisted on sitting at their table every night we ate in the Mozart dining room.
Went snorkeling with Captain Alan. Fantastic trip -- swimming with the turtles.
Went to Reggae Beach. Had a great day with St. Kitts Water Sports. Lots a great activities.
Beautiful island. We did a land/sea tour with Spencer Ambrose Tours. Had a great time--volcano, mud bath, waterfall, beach at the pitons, and great boat trip.
Nice island.
Walked around Old San Juan. Good way to spend some time before departure.
