Suite 1040. The cabin is spacious and the steward will make up your room (morning and evening) at a time which suits you. The Suites all have balconies and are away from the main decks apart from the pool deck which they are just under. This means you can sometimes hear the deckchairs being rearranged! We complained and got a free bottle of prosecco in our room as an apology along with some chocolate coated strawberries. A lovely touch.
The Exclusive sun deck for Aurea guests. If you book an Aurea package you get to eat in the Fine Dining Restaurant "Il Covo" with an all inclusive drinks package and free massages in the spa. Excellent value!
The ship passes down the Grand Canal on leaving Venice. The port excursions are interesting especially Split, Santorini and Dubrovnik. All in all a great cruise for families and young people with loads of entertainment and activities as well as kids clubs to allow parents to have free time.
