This was our first cruise after hearing so many good things about it, I'm now left wondering where we just unlucky or what is all the fuss about? We visited some lovely cities and the ship was lovely, the entertainment was good especially David in the Schooner, the stateroom attended was fantastic as where all the staff on board BUT the ship was simply too overcrowded, The chances of getting a sunbed were slim because they were all covered in blue towels from 8.00 onwards, the bars were standing room only on most nights. The lifts were only there for kids to play hide and seek in of a night and the balconies overlooking the royal promenade became little areas for the kids to "sit off" of at night. I travelled with my own children BUT I knew where they where most of the time. I Must add when I say kids I'm talking teenagers not the under tens who were very well behaved both in the pools and the entertainment areas of an evening with their parents. I'm tempted to give it another go simply because so many people love it, have I missed something? Although its no fault of RCI the bay of Biscay also had a say with a force 8 on the way back, not my idea of fun haha.
