I want to start off by saying I am NCL silver level Latitude Rewards member. I've sailed out of Miami on NCL several times (see other reviews for Epic and Sky). So this is not a knock on NCL overall but this cruise wasn't for me or my family.

We booked this cruise as a group for a sweet 16 family trip - there were 21 people in total. We left out of New York because that is where most of the family lives and we wanted to go to Bermuda.

Our two room #s were 14746 and 14748 - these were Spa balcony rooms.

Cabin Review

Spa Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B9

Clean, average size cabin. Has a dressing table/desk combo. EXTREMELY SMALL balcony. Bathroom decent size. Nice shower. Enough closet space and storage space for 2 people traveling for 7 nights but no extra. Comfortable bed/bedding.

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

This port is a NIGHTMARE compared to Miami. Very congested. If you arrive on a shuttle or private bus, you could go around 3-4-5 times before you can get a spot to unload.

The people checking in are extremely unorganized and S-L-O-W..... It should not take 2 hours to wait on line and check in to get on a cruise.
