This was our first river cruise and based on reviews, we chose Viking and are so glad we did! This was one of the most incredible trips we've ever taken. Every last detail was perfectly planned out and executed. The staff on the board the boat was so helpful and cheerful that we felt completely spoiled!
Dining -- Excellent. Great varied menu and they can modify for special diets as well. Portions were the right size and the quality was outstanding.
Ship -- Ceilings are bit short for those of us over 6' but you get used to it. A bit of engine noise but after a couple of days you don't even notice it. Very clean, very new looking and pleasant.
Cabin Review
French Balcony
Small but very efficient. Great storage, comfy bed and the French Balcony is worth the money. The bathroom is small (Ok, I'm 6'5" and 190lbs) but you figure it out pretty quick with your cabin mate.
The cleaning staff is incredible, keeping the place tip top without ever being a bother. Definitely a 5 star experience.
