This cruise was a family cruise which included 3 generations of 12 people. We chose the Eastern Mediterranean on the celebrity Constellation as we had been to the western Mediterranean previously with the same group. We had a fantastic time on the ship and at all of the ports: Olympia, Santorini, Athens, Ephesus, Malta, and Messina.

The ship is great for the Mediterranean. The pools were great, lots of "loungers" when you want to sun and the shows were great. While very clean, the ship needs some TLC. There are multiple places where small amounts of carpet are coming from the floors. I can only expect that Celebrity has plans to take care of this soon.

We did all but our port visits on our own, except Ephesus. Given the number of people we were and the age gap, this worked for us. We had some mishaps which will be the stories of the trip, no doubt: pick pocketed in Athens and almost missed the ship in Messina due to missed busses. We also had an opportunity to see an incredible fireworks show through a cruise critics organizer. Beautiful opportunity.

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

We had Barbara as our attendant. She met all of our needs and more. The room is well positioned. We loved our balcony as always and this room is close to the stairs, yet very quiet. I am not sure about the pillow menu offered to concierge rooms .... The choices were not at all appealing. They could do with new pillows, but we were fine.
