We sailed with celebrity for the first time last November on the Eclipse where we went on a 13 night southern exotic cartibean cruise. The ship was amazing with excellent amenities.
This time we chose the Equinox doing a 9 night western med cruise which again was excellent. We book concierge class which gives us a little more attention to detail and good service from our concierge room attendant. The cabin for our taste was a bit small but this didn't bother us as we were not in there for long periods.
The food is very good in the main restaurant where the waiters are polite, chatty and attentive. We have eaten at all speciality restaurants on these cruises which are very good. Celebrity do try to push these along with the photographers going round the ship and in each port of call.
Cabin Review
Concierge Class 2
The cabin is adequate always kept very clean. On this cruise there were no cotton pads or buds in the toilet which we had on the last cruise, are celebrity cutting back?
We had to ask on a few occasions to replenish the shower gel which didn't happen previously.

Took train independently from Villefranche to Monaco, great city, highly recommend a visit.
Corsica (Ajaccio)
Took independent road train round island
Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)
Took hop on hop off bus tour, also long walk from ship to cathedral and back. Beautiful port.
Cartagena (Spain)
Beautiful city, met relatives who live there
Valencia
Took hop on hop off bus this is the best way to see the city. Beautiful with many sights and a stunning beach.
Rome (Civitavecchia)
Has 2 days in Rome prior to joining ship, unbelievable architecture.
