It is fair to say I boarded MSC Divina with rather specific expectations having spent some years of my life sailing all over the world aboard cruise ships both as a passenger and as a crewmember/Ship’s Physician.

Overall it proved to be a very pleasant voyage aboard the MSC Divina. She is a near new, stunningly beautiful vessel with real Italian style and flair throughout. A true international atmosphere amongst both passengers and crew that I have not previously experienced on a Caribbean voyage coming out of Florida with the “usual” cruise lines serving that market.

We stayed in the “Yacht Club”, a restricted access area limited to about 150 guests on the two uppermost forward decks. Not overwhelmingly large but very nice, well-furnished suite with balcony. Much enjoyed Yacht Club perks included 24-hour butler service, expedited embarkation/disembarkation, private lounge, dining room, swimming pool and sundeck.
