I'm part of a group of ladies that graduated college together MANY years ago and at graduation, we swore we'd get together once a year, leaving the husbands, kids, boyfriends, dogs, etc...at home and this year was a milestone for us - 40 years. SO, a cruise sounded like the perfect getaway. All of us are still in Texas (9 to be exact), so Galveston made sense and we all wanted to see Cozumel. We met in Houston at our friend's house and spent the night before there. Again, go big or go home, we rented a limo to pick us up and take us to the port. Lots of prosecco flowing that morning!
Embarkation - We signed up for Faster to the Fun and it was well worth the price - walked right up to the entrance and were through security and on our way to the ship in 10 minutes.
Food: This was my second cruise and I can honestly say I noticed a difference in the quality - was good, but just not excellent. Our waiter, Dennis was awesome.
