I chose this cruise for the itinerary. The overnight in Stockholm, our embarkation city, allowed us to fly in on the day of the cruise, rather than fly in early to assure we did not miss the ship due to air travel delays. There were also three full days in St. Petersburg, and an overnight in Copenhagen before disembarkation.

We stayed in an inside cabin located on deck 9 forward. I found the cabin in generally good repair, clean ,and quiet. There were no creaks and rattles in the cabin, mechanical noises, or noise from public spaces above us. I could, however, hear noise from adjacent cabins. I did not feel the movement of the ship, but the seas were very calm. Our cabin steward was excellent. He made himself known to us, but conducted his daily tasks in an unobtrusive manner. He met our requests quickly - wash and fold laundry service was returned within 24 hours, toiletries were replenished when he saw they were getting low (we didn't have to request them past our initial request).

I didn't partake of much of the entertainment on board the ship. I did enjoy the classical guitar player in the Centrum. And, I did pop into the theater after dinner to listen to a couple of the headliner acts - I stayed to the end of the show just once. In all, I found myself tired and ready for sleep after the day in port, cocktails, and dinner. I enjoyed playing trivia with the cruise staff. Given the port intensive itinerary there was no progressive trivia game. I used the gym every morning. Of all the RCCL ships, this gym configuration is my favorite. There is plenty of equipment on which to get a workout, there is enough space, and I like its location on deck 12 forward. Additionally, there is a locker room with proper showers, a sauna, and a steam room available without extra charge.
