Ship is in very good shape and the crew seemed to work together well. Captain Alex was visible around the ship along with senior officers from the Hotel Department. All were willing to talk and actively solicited comments throughout the cruise reminding passengers that they couldn't resolve issues of which they were unaware. We had none, so can't comment on resolution.
We were in AQ (cabin 9070) so we dined in Blu. The food and service were excellent - better than the other seven times we have booked AQ on various ships. Olga, assistant maitre 'd was superb - professional, welcoming, ensuring that all was in order. Although there have been minor changes to the menu, we were most impressed with how well prepared every item we ordered was. Our usual servers were Antonio and Eduardo who were a great team. On a few occasions we sat elsewhere for breakfast, both stopped by to chat. I was impressed with how all the servers worked together as a team. If one was overloaded, others stepped in to help.
The cabin (9070) was quiet expect for a few times during the day when the towel trolley passed overhead. Cabin attendants did their job, but were not engaging and forgot some items.
Excellent cabin - midship. Surprisingly quiet with only occasional noise during the day when the towel trolley passed overhead. Large overhang was great considering it rained every day on our transit to/from Bermuda.
While we expected to wait until all passengers were present, there was no seating and no shade. That should have warned us. When all were accounted for, we boarded a third hand mini-bus that had seen its better days - dirty, no shocks, etc. Have ridden in better in third world countries. Driver/van did not have electronic pass, so we had to wait in the cash lanes for the turnpike and tunnel.
