We chose this cruise because we were attending an event in Seattle, and we are so happy we did. We were traveling with 3 other couples and during the planning, someone suggested that instead of 4 cabins, we could all stay in The Haven's Garden Villa. It was awesome! There was plenty of room so we could have some privacy, but we could all be together comfortably. The bedrooms were beautiful, and the master suite was incredible. There was lots of out door space for whale and glacier watching, and our own hot tub. Our butler, William, was amazing. He took such good care of us, brought us snacks and goodies all day, and seemed to anticipate any need we might have.

We did purchase the Ultimate Dining Package and had fabulous food at Cagney's Steakhouse, Le Bistro French Restaurant, La Cucina Italian Restaurant, Moderno Churrascaria, and Teppanyaki. Our breakfast and lunch was in the Moderno for Haven residents only. We also ordered room service and ate at our dinning table. We did walk around the ship, saw most of the shows, and visited the casino, but our Villa was so nice we mostly stayed there!

We also got priority embarkation and disembarkation, were escorted to shows with our own seating area, and generally treated like royalty. We took two shore excursions, whale watching in Juneau and zip lining in Skagway, both were wonderful. We were treated so well that we hated to leave. We would definitely go again!

Cabin Review

Garden Villa

Cabin H1

Fabulous! The master bedroom was huge with the king bed facing a wall of windows and the bathroom featured a large tub with a separate shower stall. There was a walk in closet/dressing room. The other two bedrooms were also large with balconies and ensuite bathrooms. There was also a 1/2 bath in the living area. There was a bar with mini fridge and coffee maker and 4 bar stools. The whole living area was floor to ceiling windows, dining table for 8, baby grand player piano, huge couch, chairs, desk. The outdoor area had a hot tub, sauna, loungers, tables and chairs. We loved it so much, we seldom left!

Ketchikan

We just walked around the town, saw (and smelled) the spawning and dead salmon, visited the totem museum, and shopped.

Seattle

No excursion, but spent 4 days here prior to cruise and loved it.

Glacier Bay

Gorgeous views! Saw seals and sea otters.
