Liked the itinerary and wanted to visit these which seemed the best way to this by going on a cruise...not sure if we liked Oceana as we like the bigger ships but cannot find anything particular to dislike about the ship ..we liked the freedom dining as this was so much better than having set times ...never had to wait for a table as we preferred to sit on our own...some past experiences sitting with others we were not keen on as we don't want to listen to people bragging and asking personal questions so we chose this time to be alone...it was a joy and will certainly do it again unless we travel with friends which obviously would be different circumstances ..
one thing we were really disappointed with was on the Thomson flight which was at 6.35am and we had to check in 3 hours earlier so we were unable to have some breakfast due to the boarding time who wants to be eating at 4.30 in the morning...we thought we would at least had been given complimentary tea but no we had to pay for tea and a ciabatta roll...this was about cost not time because the crew had time to provide this if we paid for it...this in our eyes was very meagre of p&o
Normally we go for balcony but the price out wayed the practicality of a weeks cruise so we settled for outside...found the cabin small and the bathroom very tiny
Again very pretty place we took the train ride which was a novelty ...it rooks us along the coastline which was nice
We did not see much of Corfu and the excursion was very geared up for the church and museum which we were not particularly interested in...we just walked around at our own pace before heading back to the ship
Very pretty place was surprised as knew nothing about the place
