This is the "Motel 6" of cruise lines. (No offense to Motel 6). Be prepared to pay all kinds of added fees. They charge a mandatory "tip" fee at the beginning of $12. They also charge 18% fee on all purchases. So, whether service is good or mediocre you have to double tip. The service was definitely not worth 18% let alone double tipping. The bar staff was not friendly and messed up my order two times. I asked for pretzels and never received. It is also like being at an airing of QVC. They are constantly pushing the jewelry stores at Freeport. They have junk set up while boarding and then in the walkway on the ship as well. The valet parking was nice. (Make sure you have cash to pay the parking). We boarded rather quickly; however, none of the rooms on our floor were ready to occupy. We had to wait over an hour to get in our cabin. We were supposed to have 2 beds but got only one, so we had to take the beds apart and make into two. The food was good but not great like we had on another cruise line. The pool was being painted so did not open until late the 2nd day of the cruise. Excursions were available for an additional fee. Freeport is not the best place in the Bahamas to visit. Nassau is much better and worth paying a little more on another cruise line to visit. The "Name that Tune" event was really fun. The entertainment was about the same as any cruise line. For a "budget" cruise line it was worth what we paid. As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." We will choose another cruise line and destination for our next cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside

The room was not set up as requested when we arrived. Since we had to wait so long just to get in we took the bed apart and set up as two single beds. The a/c could not be regulated, it was either on high or off. The room was much on the line of a budget motel, but that is what should be expected on a budget cruise line.
