I came upon the itinerary Land of the Midnight Sun purely by chance when looking for another family trip, but it was an itinerary we had been looking for, on a small ship, and so we signed up.

The offices, which are out of Seattle, did not inspire confidence. This was an expensive cruise, and yet we got no beautiful color brochure upon signing up and paying our deposit.

It was very difficult to connect with the salesman on the phone; there were many excuses; not enough staff on at the time; I was advised to just speak with whoever answered the phone. I have to say, this is a luxury cruise line; I felt treated like my agent, who is overworked and understaffed and sells dirt cheap all inclusives to the Caribbean which turn out pretty well, and I can usually connect on the phone with him when I need to.
