Our second trip on the Spirit, first was three years ago. She has had a refit since then and has new eating options. Main atrium, dining and theatre are still the same.

Embarkation was painful as always and things weren't helped by a computer system breakdown. If they say 2.30-3.30 they mean it. People were asked to leave the line because they tried to board early. Embarkation took approx. 90mins.

Great staff on the Spirit almost without exception especially Eli (cruise director) and Loyd (comedy club manager), who is great at 'keeping it real'.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4C

We enjoy inside cabins as they are dark, quiet and has loads of storage space. No external noise from plant or entertainment.

Bed was a bit hard but our lovely steward (Ronald) added a mattress topper after the first night.

Cons: Pillows are very soft and only one 240v powerpoint, power boards are verboten.

Shower has budget shampoo and body wash but I always take my own. Water pressure is ok but temperature does oscillate.
