We are loyal Royal Caribbean customers. This was our 8th cruise. The Serenade is a smaller ship than we use to and we sailed out of New Orleans. Our Cabin was great. This was our first experience with a balcony room. Once you go balcony you can never go back.
The dinning room felt overly crowded and the servers didn't seem very knowledgeable. On past cruises the waiter seamed to go the extra step, made dinner fun.
Our port were Fairmouth Jamaica, Cozumel, Grand Cayman.
We enjoyed 2 of the 3 port. Jamaica is a very poor town, and unless you take a shore excursion to the falls, (which we had already done on a previous cruise) there is nothing much to do in the safe shopping area.
The other two port were great. We snorkeled and swam with the dolphins.
The worst part of the cruise was the mystery dinner. This was a staged murder mystery that we were lead to believe that we were to solve the mystery. It was in a work DUMB. Not only was it not entertaining, it was scheduled on the same night as the lobster dinner which we ended up missing. Not cool!
Very clean. Needs updating. Room stuart was great.
Very crowded, did not realize it was Marti Gras weekend
If you don't go to the falls there is nothing else safe to do other than shop. Very poor not safe town.
We did the Dolphin encounter, not the swim, very cool experience.View All 92 Dolphin Swim Reviews
Nice all inclusive beach. Weather was the problem. Very windy day, not allowed to go in the ocean. Drinks and food were great.View All 696 Beach Reviews
