Having reluctantly returned home from Celebration yesterday, my review is: Flights and transfers to/from ship = excellent. As part of his, seamless luggage transfers too after leaving them at Manchester to the ship, and vice versa. Room on deck 3 = excellent. Regularly turned down and room cleaned several times per day by Aldrin. Food in both meridian and lido = excellent. Service was comparable too. This applied to all 3 specialist restaurants too. The staff = excellent. All of them couldn't do enough to help. Entertainment by show team = excellent. Superb talent, dedication and passion. Excursions = very good. Only gripe here was beach transfer on island of Corfu. This is sandy yes, but in the water, slippery rocks, which then turns back to sand out in the water. The beach itself was very nice. People/fellow passengers = very good. The whole majority of people we're very nice, with the odd minority of aspirants turning their noses up just to say they'd been on a cruise.

My other main gripe was hearing people having a moan about the standard of entertainment saying they're not west end style performers, and comparing to other larger cruise lines. Those performers gave their all, and deserve respect. I don't even think some west end musicians could fuse four songs together (musicals night) and make it work. If you want west end, then pay more and go with more pretentious cruise lines. And lastly, the dreaded sunded. If you're not going to use them, don't put towels on them. I was going to be taking them off, but my wife unfortunately spoke reason to me.

Cabin Review

Cabin Standard Double

A very nice, spacious, and well appointed outside cabin. Whilst near to the engine, this is only a light sound at night. The ship rattles when she is in port, but not at sea.
