I love Grand Cayman, it is always clean and the people are nice. The worst thing is the price b/c it is a British island. We went to the beach bring your snorkel! 4 dollar ride to and from, then we were there last April so we didn't shop but went to Margaritaville which we also did last year. IT is VERY pricey but on vacation that doesn't matter. We also went to I think it is called Breezes?? NIce place, a little cheaper and we watched the line go down then got in it for the tender. Wonderful day, GREAT weather. 


Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

I was very skeptical about reading some reviews on bugs and things, but this turned out to be my b/f and I favorite island on the trip. We went to Tabayana Beach, really really nice beach and you get a free drink. There are 3 local beers, all fabulous. We brought our own snorkel and mask ( you can buy snorkel at shore excursion desk for 5 dollars) then my mom rented a mask for 7 dollars. You have to put a 50 deposit but they rip up the voucher in front of you when you bring it back. We met a local, he told us where to snorkel and you don't have to pay extra it was the best ever. No one telling us where not to go and saw so many huge fish, schools of fish, neat corals, etc.....I bought a coral ring here but that was all oh and cigars which were handmade, yikes. People are very friendly here, we also saw Julio Iglesias house. You can buy homes for cheap here, 130,000.

Roatan

We did the beach break, so you do not go to the mainland, this was fine with me I have been to Belize City 6 years ago. My b/f has not though but, it was fine with him as well. Again, great weather, but the drinks here are overpriced and you get one free rum or beer. I was annoyed b/c the 5 dollar coconut drinks sold out grrr oh well if you go, get one early. We paid 20 dollars and a guide took us to great barrier reef for about 40 minutes. Nice place, but I hate being told not to go certain places in the water. Another group was there so we couldn't go in there area. We did see a huge sand dollar and barracuda. Also, the beach we went back to Barrister Caye for 45 minutes extra after snorkeling, my bf found a huge crab in a conch shell, took pics of it. Everyone found shells here as well. 


Belize City

I have also been here before, nice weather. We shopped around at the pier, too expensive took a cab near carlos and charlies, better shopping deals here. Plus we went in some shady places but ended up getting free shots of tequila. Some places tried to sell us Jack Daniels for 50 dollars, they are nuts. We got Kahlua 10 dollars near carlos and charlies and beer was 1 dollar everywhere, can't beat that. We ate and had drinks at CC a little pricey. Then shopped more headed back to the ship. If you bring bread there are lots of little fish by the boat dock. Some idiot had to be wheeled in a wheel chair for drinking too much and was puking on herself, nice. The duty free by the dock, was a few dollars cheaper then the boat for some things, ex remy xo, etc...I didn't go to the beach here, but would like to hear about it. I wish we could stay longer. 


Cozumel

7226NOISY!! My parents had a suite, which was fabulous prob will do that next trip! HAppy Cruising future cruisers!

We did see a few dolphins by Belize but that was it.They didn't have my fav soup tomato basil with touch of gin, and a few other favorites.
