Carnival Cruise Line Carnival Victory Cruise Ship, Port Canaveral, Florida really let me down! I got married on the ship and my wedding was amazing but what ensued upon cruising was terrible. 1) They were doing major work on the lido deck where most of the dining occurs right next to the pool. The work included tar and other equipment. It was dangerous for children and others. It impacted the use of the pool and we were never informed before booking over 60 people for the cruise that major work would be done. It also lasted the entire cruise and my guests were pretty annoyed with me about my choice in cruise ships. Not to mention you had to wait online for at least 20 minutes to get anything on the Lido Deck. At one point the staff yelled at me for trying to get a hotdog for my 2 year old son saying if "I let him eat everyone has to eat. This food is for us...the staff."2) My bag was put into a night stand by one of my "bridesmaids" I left the cruise without it and was not able to re-board to get it. I called immediately to let them know I left my bag on the ship. I called back after getting information about where my bag was left. I was told that my bag was not on board and not found. I was later contacted by the person who was given my room who had my bag. Which questions how well they clean the rooms? If they ever even looked? How much they care about customers? Especially one that booked over 20 state rooms???? Thank God for Good People because Carnival could care less. They were rude on the phone and very dismissive and to think my bag with my entire life was exactly where I told them it would be. Imagine how unclean the room is if large bags can be left??? Several of the guests complained about the state of their rooms as well. 3) My camera went mysteriously missing....My husband purchased so we could capture our time. 4) We waited literally 2 hours and 40 minutes to ask a question about our bill at the customer service desk. The information/ customer service desk is the only place you can get a room key reissued, ask a question about a bill, or a host of other things. It was terrible trying to do a group activity because we could not get support coordinating, events in advance, or service on the ship. 5) I called the post cruise customer service and the supervisor was absolutely the most rude and disrespectful manager I have ever spoken to . I guess after they receive thousands of dollars they don't really need your future business. Carnival we have cruised with other lines and we were very disappointed by the experience. It was a let down and disappointment that could have been rectified with some courtesy and compassion. Thank you for an amazing wedding and a terrible cruise experience.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

It rained and there were discrepancies about free and paid beaches. Otherwise the people were nice. Carnival did not communicate much about excursions and the line was way too long.
