A really good family cruise for the 3 generations in our party. Embarkation was slower than we would have liked but this all paled into the background once we were on board. The cabins were perfect- window that looked out at the front of deck 9- above the bridge. Clever windows meant no-one could see in during daylight but we had a perfect view out. With that said this was an area of decking very few discovered so felt like our own personal balcony with a quiet place to soak up the sun. Despite nearly 4000 on the ship we never felt crowded or had problems getting a table at dinner- or a place on the lido deck.

Matt the cruise director is great- he seems to control everything happening on the ship and has boundless energy. The shows were worth seeing - great lighting and effects.

This was our first carnival cruise and we were very impressed- it's all about having fun- so perfect for families. Now looking forward to the next carnival ship in the med!!

Don't let the walkway put you off. This was above the bridge and a very quiet place to see where the ship was heading. The Windows cannot be seen through from the outside in the day- although after dark it changes- very clever.
